About Us
Our aim at Rising Action is to cultivate a space where all writers feel comfortable to come and share their work with the world. We are writers too and there are few things that we dislike more than long wait times and wading through pretentious and often meandering "about us" and "what we like" sections, so around here we keep things quick and simple: The only thing we care about is great writing. So, whether you write joyful odes, heart-wrenching stories, or hilarious haikus, we want to read them! Konrad Ehresman
Konrad Ehresman is a writer and creative living on the central coast of California. He studied theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and writing at the University of San Francisco. Konrad's work can be found in Bluffington University's The Bridge, You Might Need to Hear This, Ariel Chart, he has work upcoming in Mocking Owl Roost, Bluebird Word, and BarBar among others.. Kelsey Coleman
Kelsey Coleman graduated with her BA in Creative Writing from Oregon State and is currently pursuing her MFA in Writing. Her work has been featured in Knot Lit Journal, Leavings Lit, and Invisible City among others. When she isn't writing Kelsey enjoys cuddling with her cats and screaming into the night to assert her dominance. She is adamantly opposed to joining social media so your only option is to follow her in person, she dares you.
